Fran Jones - DRSM, DSM, SMTO

Fran Jones is a highly qualified and registered Sports and Remedial massage therapist with many years' experience working with athletes from many sporting backgrounds, offering a wide range of massage and bodywork treatments for physical and mental well-being.

She has treated players from Scotland's Men's and Women's National hockey teams, Watsonian's Hockey club and Penicuik Harriers running club.

Fran also regularly treats clients with remedial ailments including back pain, muscle spasm, rotator cuff injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica and tennis elbow, Achilles tendonitis and many more common musculoskeletal injuries.

As a keen hill runner and road/adventure cyclist Fran is passionate about sport and has taken part in many events such as Marathons, Triathlons, Cycling Sportive and has cycled Lands End to John O' Groats in both directions, unsupported.

“Having had a few major injuries during my sporting career, I know first-hand how important Massage therapy has been in my recovery and enabling me to continue to train and compete. I am very fortunate to be able to do a job that I love, helping people overcome pain and movement dysfunction or enabling athletes to reach their performance short and long term goals.”
